China stamp : Wild Camels

This set of stamp is titled "Wild Camel". The set of two stamps are issued on 20-Feb-1993. It's a set of two, with face value of 0.60 & 1.20 yuan respectvely.

The wild camel, is also known as two-humped wild camel, which is the ancestor of domestic camels. They live is desert and can subsist on coarse and sparse food. The wild camel is now listed under the 1st category of the State Protected Species in China.
